I will never be a grandma

On Monday as I was giving Emma a bath she said to me "Parker and Clayton keep asking me to marry them." Me: "Oh yah and what did you say." Emma: "nothing."

Today she got home from school and I asked her asked her to marry them today. She said "no one, I am never going to get married." I proceeded to tell her that "if you don't get married, you can't have kids." To which she responded "I don't care, I don't want kids. They are SO ANNOYING!" haha!

So I turn to Ethan and said "well it's up to you to give me grandkids then. Do you want to get married and have a baby?" To which he responded "No"! haha!

I am sure they will change their minds along the way, afterall they ARE only 6 and 2!

Goodnight moon

*****UPDATED****** I FORGOT TO MENTION HE HAS THE "HUNTING/OUTDOORS" THEME FOR HIS ROOM. THAT'S WHY THERE ARE SO MANY ANIMALS IN THERE! :)

I haven't blogged in a while and I hope to get back into the swing of things soon.

However, I wanted to blog about my son tonight. He is so cute. Every night we put him to bed he looks around his room and proceeds to say "goodnight" to everything in the room. It's so funny to hear him in his little baby voice say "goodnight turkey, goodnight bear, goodnight boy, goodnight deer, goodnight owl, goodnight squirrel, goodnight back pack, goodnight cars, goodnight light."

I have to get it on video one of these days, before he no longer does it.

These are the moments that are so rewarding. The simple things....seeing life through a two year old.
