I just realized I am too exhausted to take a bath. How funny is that? There is no work involved and it is relaxing, but I just can't bear the thought of hauling my butt in the bathroom right now. So piggy me not only way over ate today, but am also still wearing the same clothes I slept in and have not showered since yesterday. Oh well...there is always tomorrow. Thank God Phil hasn't complained about it! I don't stink or anything.....so that's a plus LOL! After all I did just shower, shave, repaint my toe nails all for the doctor yesterday! haha! I was thinking about that....how we go all out when we go in for a physical....why is that? Shouldn't we do that more for our hubby's too? Answer: Yes we should, but thankfully he loves me just the way I am, and he had a thing or two to do with my condition right now.....so shower....you will have to wait until tomorrow. Couch am blankie......here I come.
Oh yah and I was woken up at least 3 times by my son last night...and once by my daughter. Ethan did not want to sleep an ended up in our bed, and Emma woke up asking daddy to find her "soft" blanket.....only he wasn't waking up...perhaps he was pretending he didn't hear her but I ended up getting up and finding it for her. So not that I am making excuses but this is probably why I am tired as well. Little sleep, cranky baby today......yah that's it!

Scratch that

Oink, Oink
I am such a pig today.
I know I said this in my previous post but I never remember being this hungry with any of my other babies.
So for the run down...today I ate:
2 blueberry nutri-grain waffles
Baked potato with Franks hot sauce
Turkey and cheese sandwich on wheat bread
Chips and Salsa
Nutter Butter crackers
Banana
3 hard tacos with chicken for dinner
1 bowl of ice cream
I hope this pregnancy isn't one where I am FOREVER hungry. I wonder if it is twins? We would both crap our pants....guess we will find out Friday. Though I doubt it, as the doctor never gave any indication that I am bigger than I should be at this time.
Anyway, I have been doing a lot of cleaning today all the while trying to deal with my cranky baby. I guess those teeth are coming in cause he is not sleeping at night and he is VERY cranky.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
Phil was home tonight and did the dishes for me, which was really sweet of him. He doesn't do it often and you never really think about how nice it is for someone to do it since I do it all the time. Plus our dishwasher is broken so they are all done by hand at the moment which, as you know, is very time consuming. Now he is off fishing with Emma so I am all alone....peace and quiet. I think I am going to go take a bath!!! What a great hubby I have!

We're back!
We are home now and trying to get things back to normal around here. Boy what a draining two weeks it has been. I love seeing everyone, but there truly is no place like home!
I had my first doctor's appointment yesterday. As of today I am 7 weeks 5 days along. I will be 8 weeks on Friday and I also have an ultrasound that day as well. I am very excited to see this little peanut!
I am tired. Very tired. I have not really had any major sickness yet. Which is good but bad. The only time I had no sickness is the time I had a miscarriage. By this time in my pregnancy with Ethan I was puking every day. With Emma, it started around this time. Don't get me wrong, I don't WANT to puke. I am just hoping that all is well.
I am also extremely hungry. I don't remember being this hungry with my other kids. I had 2 nutri-grain waffles at about 9 am, then I had a baked potato smothered in hot sauce at 11 am and I am hungry again so I am thinking I am going to make myself a sandwich. It is now 12:20 here!!!
In other news....Ethan pooped on the potty today! I was shocked! I saw the tell tale signs that he was working up a poop and asked if he wanted to go potty. He shook his head yes. I held him on the big potty and he proceeded to push until it came out and then told me he was all done. We wiped, got a treat and went on with the day. Now I am not getting too excited as he is not even 16 months old yet, but I am hoping that maybe, just maybe he will be well on his way to be trained by the time the baby arrives. That would be really great! We shall see though. I really need to go out an purchase a small potty that is easily accessible to him so that it's less intimidating to go.
Well I should go for now. The kids are hungry and I need to make us some lunch!!! I will update soon and hopefully will have some pics to post of the new little bundle on Friday.

One last post....
...for this week before we head off to our family reunion. We leave this afternoon. It's going to be so much fun relaxing for a few days. We get to go and be cooked for and cleaned up after...what more could a mom want?
It is supposed to be deathly hot here and that's the only thing I worry about. It will be well into the 90's all weekend and HUMID! I hate humidity.
My chest is aching. Ouch!
Well I better go get packing. Most of it is done, I just need to grab the last minute essentials...toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo etc.
I am so excited for tomorrow night for obvious reasons. My heart is pumping just thinking of it. I am not sure how people will react. I am thinking good, but you never know. Another one of those "don't set your expectations too high, you'll just be disappointed."
Ok, I really have to get moving now. It is 9:30 am and I have lots to do, including giving the house a once over just in case we get a showing....which is highly unlikely but you never know.
So long for now.....I will have lots of updates when we get home!

Blah
I am taking a risk and posting some things on here ahead of time but oh well.
So I feel sick today. Good but bad.
I want chicken....can't get enough chicken....guess that's better than candy bars.
My chest hurts.
Any questions?
HAHA!
Now if you will excuse me, I have to go use the bathroom............again!

Gluttony
One more for today....I think.
Can I just say that some may think I am an awful mother for allowing this but I was at my wits end. My daughter had literally eaten non-stop for weeks now. The frustrating part is that I don't think she is hungry at all. She will finish breakfast and immediately want a snack. Eat lunch...want a snack before dinner, snack, after dinner snack, before bed, snack. What the HECK! This has to be boredom eating or something. After a while I noticed this pattern and after much begging, pleading, asking, and then yelling...she still does not listen. I find her in the pantry eating. So today she ate all her meals and then some. I went to take a shower and she said she was hungry. I told her not to eat, and when I got out I would make dinner. What do I find when I get out of the shower? Not only had she eaten she had a bag of tortilla chips, a bag of muncheez, and a bag of croutons she was eating from. She then proceeded to eat a WHOLE can of spaghetti o's. Now instinct told me not to give her more after the first helping of spaghetti o's but she begged and pleaded so I gave her the rest of the can and she devoured it. Mind you, Ethan did not eat any of this...she ate the whole can. Afterwards she walks in her stomach hard as a rock complaining her belly hurts. Not that I want to see her in pain, but I think this may be what it takes to finally get through her head that she CANNOT eat nonstop all day. This isn't allowed here nor is it allowed when school starts in the fall. So I made her go to bed with a full belly that was aching. Yes I thought about giving her medicine but I want her to remember this feeling before shoving her face with food next time. So to some, I may be an awful mom...but I had to do what I had to do to get this through her head. I just hope it works.

He's back
Monkey boy is back. I got him up from his nap, he was again naked, and had poop all over his crib! Isn't it kind of early to be going through this "phase" I thought this happened around 2? Why would you want to play with poop? How long will this last?

Queen of posting today
I am totally cleaning my house getting ready to pack up and go to my Family Reunion. Yesterday I washed and swept the floors, vacuumed the carpets, and starting to pack. Today I read that you should be washing sheets at least every 10 days. Sorry to say I lack in this area. My sheets and all bedding could practically walk on their own by the time I get to washing them. Anyway, I did not know that you could wash pillows. So I have done the bedding for Emma and her pillows, and when that was finished I popped our pillows in the washer. I have no clue what happened this time around, but for some reason after washing the pillows the tub of the washer was still filled with soap suds! WEIRD! Needless to say they are in the washer yet again. I am really hoping they are completely clean this time around because I don't want to have to run the washer again for no reason. And by the way. Throwing pillows in the dryer is a great way to give them their fluff back. I never new this. Once a pillow got flat we would throw them away and get new ones. Who knew that throwing them in the dryer revitalized them? Can you tell this is my first time washing pillows? haha!
And crazy me I gave myself a bikini wax! haha! Yes you heard right! I have a bad problem in that area, and it seems to get worse with every pregnancy...why is that? I never knew turning into an ape was part of the deal. But anyway...my skin is so sensitive that shaving just does not cut it. It gives me bad bumps and being so fair skinned you can still see the root of the hair etc. I desperately want laser hair removal, but I know that is too costly for us at this point. So I did some research and being was to embarrassed to go to the salon to do it, I finally determined I will do this on my own. I got numbing cream, bump be gone, and wax strips and had at it. I must say it did hurt a bit, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. It was fairly easy to do and worked pretty well. I had to give myself a break, though I got most of it, I started bleeding (completely normal) and was getting sore I figured that was enough for today. I still have strips left so I will try again tomorrow or in a couple of days. If this really lasts for 6 weeks this is so worth it. Like I said it's not that bad for how long the results last and it is fairly simple. I am eager to see what it looks like in a couple of days. And I have decided that armpits would be by far the worst past of the body to do! I am not even going to try there!

P.S.
To those who know the situation....thanks for being supportive!!!!

Hope from my coffe mugs
I have to admit that I have been a little worried about a certain situation in my life right now. Some may know what I am talking about, and others won't but the actual subject is not important at the moment. Most people in my life who know about this have been very positive....and then there are others. Others who only see the bad in everything. People who are negative and only bring up the negative. They make me start to think badly and that this may go all wrong at any time. It's the one voice that starts the little voice bringing up all the bad. I guess I don't understand people. Why is it that everyone has an opinion, and their opinion is so contrary to how I feel? Don't get me wrong I have opinions about other people situations...I guess it is my fault for telling some people about this situation. Are you all confused now by my coded message? haha! I can explain in more detail now, it's just not the right time at the moment So this morning I get out my coffee mug a different one with a different scripture and it says The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace. ROMANS 15:13
I need to refocus on the joy and peace and the goodness of all this and try to pt all that negativity behind me. I don't understand why it bothers me so much what others think of me. Why do I care? Not everyone is going to be happy with me all the time. I just can't get these things out of my head though. Hopefully I can find peace about it and move on and not be so insecure. Overall it doesn't matter.

I gave birth to a monkey
My cute adorable son is not only good at climbing but he has discovered a new talent! He can now undo his diaper and squish his little hands in his poop! I caught him naked sitting in the living room with his hands covered in poop squishing in and out of his little fingers. Then when I tried to pick him up and put him in the bath and began rubbing his face spreading the monkey poop all over his mouth, cheeks and eyes. I haven't experienced something like this before (no my daughter NEVER did this) and it took every ounce of self control to keep from tossing my cookies all over the floor. And just the thought of poop on y0our face, near your mouth....oh God I hope he doesn't get sick from that. How disgusting. I am hoping this may be a sign of early potty training but until then I need to catch the poop right away so that we don't have another flinging scene in the future! NASTY!

Jekyl and Hyde
I have been absolutely awful to live with the past few weeks. I know I am moody. I try to control it but it just happens. It's like really bad PMS. I think that fact that it has been obnoxiously hot here as well does not help anyone's moods. Thankfully we have had a break in the heat today. It is a gorgeous 67 degrees right now, sunny and just perfect!
I need to get back to working out. It has been so hot here that I took a break for a few days. There are new workouts that I want to try and stay in the habit of doing them! I am excited to get going on this, and hopefully this will help my moods as well.
I just began taking vitamins again as well, so I am sure that will help me bunches!
I just got this new mug and it is so pretty. I have been drinking tea lately which counts as water consumption so that is a plus. Anyway the mug is all different colors and it says :
FREE TO BE ME
I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

How cool is that?

I am an addict
I am embarrassed to admit that I am addicted to clothing! It is just now dawning on me! I bought some Space Saver bags to pack up and store my out of season clothing in. I had 3 large space saver bags, and I have filled everyone to the brim and still have need for a few more bags! What the hell? Do I really NEED all that clothing...........NO! Do I WANT all that clothing....YES! And despite my better judgment I still by more at times! I really really need to get a handle on this. Seriously, if I put 1/2 that money spent on clothing we would be out of debt....well ok that was an exaggeration, but you know what I mean. Oh what I could do with all that extra cash. It's so hard for me though...I am enticed by the emails, and sales. I love the feeling of getting new clothes. But that's just it....it is a high..so to speak....and it has to stop! Lord help me!

Does someone have a bucket?
Just in case anyone decides to try out the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, let it me known when you finish you feel like you are going to die! I really feel like I could throw up right now! But after all that wears off and I am showered and clean I feel so much better. AF should be coming tomorrow and I have no symptoms of cramping or moodiness at all and I know exercise does help with that so that's great!
So if you do this and you feel like death, don't worry I do to...but it's already working....so keep going!!!!!!
BTW my muscles don't hurt as bad today. I have been popping motrin and soaking in hot baths and I keep moving. It's worse if you sit down to baby it......so much worse. That's why you feel like crap when you wake up the next morning. This morning was the first morning I didn't look like Frankenstein climbing the stairs to get Ethan.

Bye, bye body fat.
As you can see I am up 2 lbs, but my body fat has gone down to 37%. Yeah muscle! And this is only after 3 days. I just did my measurements and here is the deal:
145 lbs
37% body fat
37 1/2" around the belly button
32" waist
11 1/2" left arm
11 1/2" right arm
22 1/2" left thigh
22 1/2" right thigh
This is hard for even me to believe as I have only been doing this for 3 days, but I guess Jillian is right. She is giving me a run for my money, but I am already seeing results. 2 lbs of muscle in 3 days is not bad at all! And I know it's muscle because my inches are going down! YIPEE! Can I also say that I haven't been doing much in the dieting area. I try to eat healthier, but I am still eating ice cream, and hamburgers and it's still working well. Not that eating healthy is bad, I just think at my age I should still have a little bit of freedom with what I eat. I am only 28, a bowl of ice cream shouldn't hurt me that much especially since I have been thin my whole life. I think the big thing is that I am not exercising as much as I did when I was younger.

Before

I really hate doing this, but since it is a journal for me to look back on I decided I should publicly humiliate myself and post pictures of my flubbery body. I know once I am better shape I will want to see what it was that I looked like. This is the best picture I could get out of Emma! We have a new lens on the camera and it makes it super heavy so this is the best she could do!

Aftermath
I don't know it this is because I am working out so hard or what it is but I fell asleep sitting up at 7 o' clock last night! haha! I was planning on going to bed early but not that early.
Good news is that I can indeed move today. Granted I look like a robot moving but I can move nonetheless.

Yeah baby!
I just got my ass whooped! That Jillian Michaels is tough, but encouraging. It's so awful and so great all at the same time!
I will be lucky if I can move at all tomorrow!

My bit fat body!
SLACKER! I have been so bad lately. I have been lifting weights every other day but with summer here I am having a really hard time staying on track with food. There are just way too many hamburgers, hot dogs, and ice cream cones to be eaten! So because of this I have had to ramp up my exercise program. It's hard for me to go for a walk with my kids (a productive walk that is) because I only have one jogging stroller and walking at Emma pace doesn't exactly burn that many calories. I know, excuses, excuses but what can I say....it really is the truth. But I discovered a wonderful thing called On Demand through my cable company. I had seen comercials for it before and I have digital cable already I just thought I would have to pay extra for this On Demand stuff. Turns out I was wrong. I had to do some research but I discovered that all I had to do was punch in the channel and voila! all of this glorious new programming right at my fingertips! One of which is ExerciseTv on Demand. They have several workouts on there all different types...from cardio to pilates, to biggest looser workouts. I saw and ad for Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and let me tell you she almost killed me and I only did half of the workout because Ethan woke up!
So my new stats today are 143 lbs
38% body fat....ewe!
38" around the belly button
32" waist
12" left arm
12" right arm
23" left thigh
23" right thigh
